                                    Tessaban 4 School (Ban Laem Sai),

 

 This research aimed to evaluate the projectpromoting excellence in music and dance at Tessaban 4 School (Ban Laem Sai) in the contexts of input, process and output based on the CIPP Model.  The sample used in this assessment included15 members of school board, 4 school administrators, 15 music and dance teachers, 80 students interested in music and dance and 80 parents interested in music and dance.  The research instruments consisted of a questionnaire and an interview schedule and the data were analyzed by such statistics as percentage, arithmetic mean (), standard deviation (S.D.) and content analysis.

 

The results of the study reveal the following. 

 

1. Overall, the project evaluation on the promotion of excellence in music and dance at Tessaban 4 School (Ban Laem Sai) is at a ‘very highly appropriate’ level.  By individual aspects, it is found that the contexts of input, process and output are also at a ‘very highly appropriate’ level. 

 

2. The context of the project is found to be at a ‘very highly appropriate’ level.  By individual items, it is found that the appropriateness of the objectives is in concord at a ‘very highly appropriate’ level with the development strategies of the school, current conditions of the school, community needs,the needs of the participants and the possibility of achieving operational objectives.

 

3. The input for the project is found to be at a ‘very highly appropriate’level.  By individual items, it is found that the appropriateness of the personnel, an adequate budget, availability of materials, equipment and facilities and project management. 

 

4. The process is found to be at a ‘very highly appropriate’level.  By individual items, it is found that the operational planning, capability in implementation of the project, the monitoring of operation and improvement of the project are at a ‘very highly appropriate’ level.
